Nib For Parker 51 Demi - Same As Standard Size P51?

I don't want to disassemble two pens to find out, so someone please tell me if the nib for a Parker 51 demi is the same as the nib for a standard size 51.

I believe I asked this question years ago, and it turned out the nibs are the same.

All 51 nibs except those for the modern 51 SE are interchangeable.

I assume you are talking about the aerometric debutante 51. Vacumatic 51s parts, with the exception of the barrel, are the same. Aerometric debs are smaller and shorter than the standard aerometric 51. Nibs are the same, feeds are the same, collectors are not the same, and the breather tube is shorter.

Super 21's and 51's have the same nib? I did not realize that. Now I have to pull out my P-21's.

...axcept that the Super 21 nibs are octanium (steel) as were used in earlier production P51 Special.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
