Your 342 G OB image is so lovely that I've shared this link with several friends.

They're all as favorably impressed as I am by the superb condition of the pen.

The handwriting sample is deeply impressive.

Again, thank you for posting this.

FedEx delivered my new Homage to Homer 3OB yesterday morning as I was leaving for work. It has some hard starting issues and I am trying to work on my self. The nib is too lovely for me to send away for work to be done on it this soon after receiving it.

A Montblanc Bohème Rouge in your talented fingers is a source of art for 2020.

Adding Montblanc chocolates to the images is a sweet touch.

Thank you for generously sharing your work with us.

May 2020 be a productive year for your fine art.

I'm pleased to see that you, like me, use Fritz Schimpf Feinpost paper.

Since first using it in 2019, it's become my ‘paper of choice’ for most sketching and handwriting.

Your latest work has such a variety of carefully observed detail.

Thank you for posting it.

JFK FP twins!!

Such stunning pieces.

Will be my everyday pens for the next week.

Gorgeous pens! I am considering the burgundy. Your photos really show it off well.

Beautiful photos! I was the proud caretaker of a Boheme for a short time. It was a lovely pen, but just not the right one for me. It is now being used and loved by someone else.

Yeah! Thanks Tom, it's really good paper for fountain pen writing.

By the way, today I updated the post with a tracing paper test (sketch also by Boheme:)).

burgundy is a stunner. I have long wanted a burgundy MB and this one fit the bill. I would advise you to snatch one up before it becomes hard to find.

beware of ebay fakes, just fyi.

I just inked up a Thomas Mann WE for the first time in a long time with MB Homer Blue ink, and I am enjoying the re-discovery.

Also, I will second the good opinion just above of Fritz Schimpf Feinpost as an excellent paper for FP writing.

Yes, Fritz Schimpf included as a bonus a block of A5 Feinpost with one of my orders last year, and I became an instant fan. I have the feeling Sebastian is going to sell me a lot of that paper over the long run.

He's welcome to sell me Feinpost in every order.

I fully understand why you're a fan. So am I, with good reason.

Three cheers for Fritz Schimpf Feinpost, the fountain pen user's friend!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
