I got an Eversharp Demi pencil on which the only markings are: GENUINE EVERSHARP PATENTED U.S. AMERICA located at the top behind the clip near the eraser.

The pencil is in the style of an Eversharp Skyline Press Clip Il except the clip is different.

Has anyone seen this marking on other Eversharps?

Here's a photo of the pencil. It's a good pencil, well made. I've never seen a pen or pencil marked GENUINE EVERSHARP and usually it's just marked EVERSHARP and says Made in U.S.A., not U.S. AMERICA. Maybe it was for distribution outside the U.S.A.

It's an Eversharp Victory.  I posted an article about this in September at The Leadhead's Pencil Blog.

Thank you very much for the information. I'll look it up. I use the Mechanical Pencil Museum website a lot for reference.

By the way, why do you think the Victory is marked GENUINE EVERSHARP PATENTED U.S. AMERICA? That seems strange.
