Stuff that's been checked out seems to stay in my shopping cart, too. It's no indication of anything, IMO.

You can reach out to mr Subramaniam of Asapens from the website (contact info is available) or even by PM on the forum.

He is usually very good at responding to communication by email. I have bought pens and other stuff from him for years and never had cause for complaint. (no other association).

If you ordered from the ASA pens website, you should have an account. If you have an account, you can check your order history. If you check your order history, you should be able to see your last order and the status (received, processing, shipped...) of that order.

Thanks a lot Vaibhav for bringing this thread to my notice :-)

Dear Sir,

I have checked up from my end on your case.

Please note that once you make a payment at the PayUMoney site, the gateway will bring you back to ASA Pens website. Then only the payment is complete. You must not press any keys in between.

You have made 2 orders yesterday. Order Nos 6875 and 6876.

Order 6875- In this case you pressed the Back key before the payment was processed at the Payu site. So it got debited from your card and also got refunded to you. In my website Order was rejected.

Order 6876- Here you have pressed the keys, once you landed on ASA Pen website, but order was still incomplete. Order did not complete. Here the Payment is debited with your bank and is under prcess to my account. I have initiated this order as payment is under process to my bank. Will confirm this shortly.

I have replied to your email of yesterday. My contact no is 9176607660

Finally, If your order fails, it does not mean ASA Pens has closed down or stopped selling pens, such statements send wrong signal.

I am always available for any support at +919176607660 you can reach me at unik.services@hotmail.com for any further clarifications.

Thanks

The prices are shown in pounds and dollars for past few weeks? Not in INR..anything changed?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
