I missed the boat on this particular pen. It was launched in 2012, I believe, with an edition number of 200 for the sterling silver version. I would love to get one but they are all sold out as far as I know. Does anyone have such a pen and would consider selling it? I have a preference for a particular nib but no doubt I could sort that out if I bought a pen with a different grade of nib.

Sorry for the very delayed response. There was a technical problem.

 

One of my keen but dim Merry Men was collecting wood for our fire and he felled a tree which had some rather unusual wires strung through it. Coincidence, do you think?

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
