M800 Green Demonstrator Value?

Hi All,

I have a M800 green demonstrator, but is not the original green LE with W. Germany on the cap, but newer one. Just says Germany and has new style Pelikan logo on top. It appears the old LEs are worth $600-$800, how much would this one be worth?

Last couple of these (used, but in excellent condition) that I recall seeing sell went in the $400-450 range if I recall correctly.

This is the M800 green demo from 1992. Not "The Collector's Edition" but likely one of the pens from the run that was sold in Italy and France. They I nly differ from the collectors edition by the lack of a certificate which was an artificial addition made by the US distributor. The absence of West Germany stamping just indicates this came later in the run. 1992 was the final transition point where pens were predominantly being stamped Germany. I think something around $500-600 isn't unreasonable if you find the right buyer. These are desirable pieces. Good luck.
