I agree, there is no nicer combination of color than in that pen. Thank you for sharing a beautiful pen; I wish I had it instead of my four year old M800 Brown Tortoise.

The old red tortoise is one of my favorites. Something about that color combination that is just irresistible.

This is a fantastic and rare pen in great shape. A restoration seems not necessary, although a slight polish would bring back the ebonite parts to fantastic shine.

If there is old/dried ink inside, I'd clean it out to avoid possible chemical damage of the celluloid barrel. (Nobody knows what old inks contains...)

 

...and of course, I would fit a new cork seal, but that's just me.
