Hi folks,

Diamine kindly send us some inks to try :)

We only had a day or two to play with them, but I wanted to share the pic (thank you Faisal). More will follow :)

My fav 3 are teal with silver, green with gold and Greenwich silver. Kudos for magenta and pink!!! :)

Enjoy,

Mishka

Very pretty.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I'm looking forward especially to the Golden Oasis, which looks to be the spring green with gold shimmer ink that was put on display here some months ago as a candidate for this next round of shimmering inks. Thought it looked great then, still think it looks great.

Hopefully samples will be available from Goulet Pens. I don't think I can limit myself to a couple bottles of the inks, I'd rather have a small volume, but all of them! I have the original shimmer inks made by diamine, but I love the new ones added, such an amazing line!

I have the original ones but not getting as much use out of them as I had hoped as they can a bit finicky. This time I love Cocoa Shimmer and Lilac Satin looks interesting.

Not a fan of gimmicky sparkle inks at all - they all look like glitter gel pen ink to me. Aside from the My Little Pony aesthetic (which is obviously just a personal opinion) there are also too many reports of feed blockages & inconsistent performance for me to want to put a heterogeneous mix like these inks in my pens.

You know what, I think this is why I like sparkly inks! I loved glitter gel pens when I was younger ...

I do find it frustrating how my pens get clogged sometimes, but this doesn't stop me from trying more sparkly inks! I'm looking forward to Caramel Sparkle and Golden Oasis the most!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
