I'm interested in this but wondering if we get to choose the design options? I prefer with the flatter ends. Also what does the demonstrator version look like polished or frosted? Thanks appreciate these group offers.

You can specify for choice though....

Demonstrator is Brushed and looks like frosted......

I have a couple of questions here.

1- The grip section on the Designer pen. Is it the same grip as the one used in the Model 8? If different, is it thicker? different shape?

2- If I go for the Bock nib, does the pen come with a friction fit ebonite feed? Can I later swap it with a generic Bock nib of a different grade (for example #6 italic 1.5 nib).

Thanks.

Thanks Vaibhav, but how is production and dispatch going for the last group buy? I ask because I have heard nothing about the one I ordered in July. I am not complaining but wonder how orders for a new pen can be taken while production of the other is obviously still ongoing.

Cheers

Dear Mr. Ian1964 Sir,

The Previous Group buy orders have been dispatched except couple of orders which I received after 10th of Aug. The Shipment information have been sent to all who had made confirmed order. I did not get the confirmation for your order. Kindly PM me . I will do the needful if I missed any.

Dear Mr. Pepsiplease69 Sir,

We have two type of grip section.

1. Regular section

2. Hourglass section (Bamboo section) . It is similar to Model 8 Section but it is slightly thicker

The Bock Nib is friction fit nib. You can swap it later with your own Bock nib.

Dear Sir,

We prefer if you just Outline the design (flat ended or round ended) But We will make the pen to the nearest design choices as displayed here, if you prefer it.

Dear Mr. Vaibhav Sir,

Ton of Thanks again for organizing this Group Buy.

Dear All,

Thanks for your Continuous Support !!!

Schmidt nibs are available in White colours(F, M, B) also.

Ambitious 35mm nib is gold coloured nib. Ambitious Flex nib is not available for now.

The section of Acrylic Matte Pens , Matte finish with Polished finials pens would be in Matte finish only.

These Designer pens are very unique and finishing of this design by Craftsman would be at top notch. It takes more time to make it.

We will deliver in agreed time.

These look beautiful. Last group buy I ordered through the asapens website, but it is showing that the website is down now. Is that how to place an order for this group buy, or is there another way to do so? Thank you.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
