Found Some Custom Leather Cases/holders - Great Prices

This is my first post of this kind.. Just wanting to pass along a great find and great prices. I should add that I am in no way affiliated with this seller - so nothing for me but to pass along the information.

I've been looking at leather pen holders for a while and I haven't purchased any. Usually the price changes my mind.

Quite by accident, I saw some leather cases on eBay with very good prices (compared to those I have looked at in the US )

I emailed the seller and asked about a custom case for my Kaweco pens. As, I had read that the Kaweco cases don't quite fit pens with clips on. I also wanted a case to hold several Kawecos.( Liliput sizes available too )

The seller is happy to make custom cases ! I was able to send exact measurements for the cases I wanted and they made and sent them very quickly. The seller offers free shipping.

I received ;

A single Kaweco holder/open top - $ 6.90

A 3 pen Kaweco holder/flap closure - $ 8.90

A 4 Kaweco holder/flap closure - $ 10.90

Prices for the standard pen sizes are around the same price, and there are different styles, sizes, closure types and different leather choices available. Easy to customize your cases. Mine work for other smaller pens I have as well.

He also makes leather pens rolls and journal covers - Check this seller out - http://www.ebay.com/usr/sunnyzone25?rt=nc

  • 2 weeks later...

I couldn't be happier with them... I am ordering some others - They are really top notch cases.

You can not find these at reasonable prices. As I said, if you have specific needs, let them know the size/measurements and they will make them for you.

If you'd like, I can post photos of the black leather cases they made for me.

It will take a little time for it to be made, but well worth the wait :)

At 10.4 cm the three pen cases seem to be for shorter pens (probably the smaller Kaweco.

It's good that they do custom work also.

Hey - Well, I would leave a comment that you want the case for the Kaweco Sport pens, I know they are making them for the Sport and Liliput pens.. You are welcome to let them know you want the ones like they made for me... as I was the first to request the size and sent the pen info for them..... I am sure they'll get ya the size you need if it's the sport pen you want them for :) Jill

I read their ad and it said exactly what you just stated.

I just wanted to make sure people were aware that the one listed accommodated the smaller pens. It was not a criticism, rather a clarification. Thanks for you reinforcement of my "clarification"!

Awesome. I wanted a nice deep brown and I didn't know which to pick from the colour section (the pictures of the leathers didn''t look that good haha)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
