Fountain Pen-Friendly Us Size Notebook Paper?

I'm currently taking a couple of college classes, and the poor quality notebook paper has been frustrating. I called Goulet Pens to see if they have the 8.5 x 11 inch notebook paper or know of any, and they said no and recommended I post here. So can anyone help me? I just want narrow-ruled notebook paper that's fountain pen friendly. Current paper I'm using is scratchy and bleeds through to the other side unless I use an extra-fine nib (which is scratchy and unpleasant to use on the paper). Any recommendations?

If you are willing to buy a notebook and remove the paper as needed Goulet has the following for sale which I use for grad school:

$12.50 Each for 90 pages per notebook

 

The paper is heavy enough that you can easily use both sides with a standard F or M nib pen and noodlers inks. I've had good luck with Kon Peki so far too.

I don't see if the paper is perforated or not? I like Clairefontaine paper but have the same problem with the size.

I have heard that if you look at office supply stores and get the paper made in Brazil, it's better.

Staples Signa pads are letter sized, ruled, fountain pen friendly in my experience...

 

I got a 12 pack for about $20 last time I was in a Staples. Make sure it is the Signa pads with a blue strip at the top, not the cheaper pads with a red strip. The red ones feather like crazy.

I'm surprised too because I'm pretty sure I bought mine from Goulet Pens. In any case, this meets your need. And to respond to Jordan N's concern, this notebook's paper is perforated. The sheets tear off cleanly, and the removed sheets (from my own notebook) measure not-quite-8.5 (roughly 8.3) by 11.

Another option that might work for you would be buying a ream of fp-friendly printer paper and printing your own. You can find lots of college-ruled printables online (to save you the bother of making your own templates), and there are some great options for printer paper that handles fountain pen ink very well. I use HP Premium Choice LaserJet paper to make my own little notebooks and Midori-style inserts. The only drawback is that the printer paper is a little heavier than typical nb paper, but otherwise a much cheaper option. I ordered mine on Amazon and I think it was something like $15-20 for 500 sheets.

I found HP 32lb 98 brightness laser paper on Amazon.

 

I have used this site to make 3 LPI PDFs with dotline ruling, but it has lots of possibilities, and allows a great deal of customization. I recommend 10% grey ruling and/or dots. And this is about the only case where I'd prefer an inkjet to a laser printer; toner, no matter how lightly it is laid down, rejects ink and creates texture.

The best one I have found is made by Miquelrius, out of Spain. They are like $17 US and shipped via amazon. I love it.

Tomoe River, Nanami Seven Seas, Leuchtturm1917 have paper in that desired size. I prefer the Nanami because there are twice number of sheets for the same thickness as other vendors. All are perfectly suitable for FP and don't bleed through.
