Swan Pen Id

This came into the PCA in a large collection, but we can't find anything about the set. Having checked the books and other sources, Marc Shiman suggested that I post the picture here. The pen is mint. If you have detailed information, contact me BC by email please.

 

The pen is marked "Swan" pen on the barrel below the clip going around the barrel. Nothing on the pencil. The nib is marked

The Moak book shows a pen with this clip and a hint of a very pointy top jewel. 3rd edition page 157. The clip matches an early 1930s Swallow (the shiny picture on top of the attachment in this post), and seems to precede the Arrow Clips.

That doesn't match the pen at all, nor the imprint on the barrel. The end points are quite pronounced on this set.

I know it does not match. It is just the only information I could find with any common features. These two pens - neither a Swan - are the only ones I saw in the entire book with that clip. And the clip design seemed to narrow down the date of production.

 

I was hoping that presenting even a tiny clue might be helpful.
