My pen was shipped on 23 Aug 2016 and it arrived this morning on 1 Sep 2016.

It is in mottled green matte finish. Sorry for the poor quality of my tablet camera. The real pen is simply terrific.

Wow the mottled green in matte looks very nice. I would like that! I've gone for a demo version. It was shipped yesterday so can't wait now!

You're lucky. My pen was shipped on the 18th and has still not been received.

Your pen is beautiful; it's a great combination of color and finish for the bamboo body.

Thank you for your kind comment. I got my pen so fast probably because it needed not go through custom. The quality of the pen is really good and it worth the wait. Hope you will get you pen soon.

My Bamboo pen has arrived. I was surprised to see that the Ebonite color is drastically different from that on the image. I had selected #11 from the new SR series and it doesn't look very close to that at all. I am not saying it's not beautiful because any Ebonite IS, it just doesn't match the expectations and I need to readjust.

The pen is well made, the threads are amazing as they are on my Ranga Duofold and the nib is great as well. I am going to adjust my feed, equip a fude nib and I suspect the pen is going to become a true workhorse. A review is coming once I used the pen long enough so I can confidently comment on all the features and my experience.

All in all, a wonderful pen, I'm happy with it and looking forward to any future Rangas I may try. A thank you goes to both Mr.Vaibhav and Mr.Kandhan for bringing us these lovely pens.

Some images follow.

Here is the Bamboo with Conklin B nib:

And here you can see how it compares to the Ranga Duofold:

Mine arrived and I'm very excited.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
