Received mine today along with the click offer and an airmail. The Nauka is big but lighter than I expect. Beautiful pen!

For reference:shipping notice 7/23 and delivery to Wisconsin 8/4 (fast!)

Received mine a while ago, and it is a very beautiful pen. Unfortunately, my cap had some finishing issues at the edge (similar to what a few others have mentioned). Emailed ASA pens and they responded very promptly, letting me know that they were happy to send a replacement cap. Will update here when it gets shipped/I receive the replacement.

I still have had no communication after my original order confirmation. I did chase on Whatsapp but the time period that was originally stated has lapsed. I guess you got quite a few orders to catch up on.

What is the ETA ?

I finally got my shipment notification last week buts no reply of confirmation about an extra section and nib which I have emails and whatsapp-ed them about. Can't wait to receive mine now was hoping the communication would have been better.

Just received my Nauka and while it had a great standard nib, I had to use one that takes advantage of it's huge reservoir of INK.

So in went the Jinhao Fude Nib. Thanks Subra.

Received my pen yesterday and I seriously love it. It is so much lighter than it looks and very comfortable. I wrote about 3k words in one sitting with it and could have kept going had there been time. This will see a lot of use. I may need another one. Thank you so much for the opportunity for this pen! Very easy experience and pretty quick too.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
