Taccia 8 Kimono Pen Wrap

Do you know where I can purchase a Taccia 8 Kimono Pen wrap? Specifically the designs which have black as their primary colors? I'll provide a picture of one of them.

Nibs.com have them, but the ones I am interested are sold out. I do not want blue. Are they still being sold? I believe the one pen wraps or five pens but need the 8 pen edition.

I know this one is not what you are looking for, yet the image that you loaded, Fountainpenlady, reminded me of these at Jetpens.com.

They come in several patterns and colors. Here are the black ones.

Perhaps two five pen kimonos?

I am trying to find out where to purchase since they seem to either no longer be sold or the variety is scarce. I have only come across the one pen wrap, which would be far too many to carry around at one time. :lticaptd:

They are hard to find. Did you try to email Taccia directly?

Working on it. Called nearly all the places on the East Coast listed on their site who may sell them. Several links dead, assume means they are either out of business, or no longer sell them. They remind me of Ling and Nan wraps of many years ago. Next week, West Coast inquiries. :eureka:

I just noted that there is a Taccia pen roll give away at the DC Pen show.

"TACCIA promotion at the DC Pen Show. A $30 value Kimono single pen wrap will be given to customers with any TACCIA fountain or rollerball pen at the show through our retailers. Taccia will also launch a series of beautiful Maki-e LE collection and a new Tanto LE at the show"

I found the description part way down the main page of the show: http://www.pencentral.com
It's the the 8-wrap that you want, yet perhaps a lead for finding what you do want?

Thank you so much. Our Pen Show is coming before D.C. so I am going to check and see whether I can find one there.

Massdrop had these available twice in the last 7 months but I don't know when or if they will bring them back again. The prices were good -- the Dancing Sakura 8 pen roll you were looking for was offered for $56 which is a significant discount from the $85 retail price. The downside is having to wait and see if it becomes available. If you're interested in being notified if they bring this product back, you can sign up here: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/taccia-kimono-pen-rolls?mode=guest_open

Done. I can believe how close I was to getting one. Notified by someone of the company they no longer have any of the patterns and designs I was interested in holding 8 pens. Thanks though and I did put my request in for Massdrop.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
