This is 30 minutes on a variety of subjects with Susan Wirth, mostly about the value of italic handwriting and pens that create it. But touching on many other fascinating subjects. Produced by Lisa Vanness (vannesspen) with Brad Dowdy at the Chicago 2016 pen show.

That was a very heartwarming discussion.

Susan is just one of the nicest people.

OOO Thank you!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Yep. She's a force of nature.

I would have enjoyed seeing her hand writing and a demonstration of the pens. But very interesting discussion, thanks for sharing.

A great verbal history on one person's journey into the land of pens and pen shows. What a personality!

I am a little worried now about the Parsons cursive italic broad I am awaiting. But I'll jump off that nib when I come to it.

She mentioned (27:20) that the SF Pen show 2015 was the 3rd highest single-day gross sales at a pen show, out of the more than 250 shows she did.

Hooray for SF pen show, first of all.

And secondly, I wonder which ones are the 1st and 2nd highest sales. We need to beat those numbers in 2016. (it's probably LA and DC, those are the obvious ones).

So, what's your point? (Mine is a flexible F.)
