A dark brown? Well... not exactly my favourite colour, but if there is no red in it I might get it as well. Unfortunately I missed to buy the Amber. :(

I missed that one too. Place an add on the Classified, some kind soul will sell you his/hers.. ;)

Every time I try to vote for any ink I get a "We have detected suspicious rating behaviour for this submission. Please try again later." popup message.

:(

I've only been trying to give 4 (almost as good as my submission) and 5 (as good or better than my submission) ratings, but none of my ratings have posted successfully.

(I don't want to submit ratings for ones I don't like, which shouldn't be a problem -- I would hope.)

:glare:

Anyone have any idea what's up?

I've been getting the same error. :( I wanted to vote for Cyber6's entry, but the website won't accept my rating.

I hope we get a brown ink as there aren't any in the line up at the moment and I far prefer writing in brown than in black or blue or blue black.

I was once a bottle of ink, Inky Dinky Thinky Inky, Blacky Minky Bottle of Ink!

So it's dark green with red and tan flecks?

It's a deep, dark black and red with a touch of green (although I couldn't really see any green when I put it in). It will likely sheen green and its shading will demonstrate a tiny hint of tan. It may need sparkles and will definitely come with a free pen. I think the free pen thing alone should make mine the winner.

If it has my name next to it then yes. It wasn't a serious attempt but more of a mass assault on Pelikan to show dark murky green browns can be popular

(Cyber6's is much nicer and Inkylefty's Stealthy Black Blue is a must have)

I've seen many reddish brown like Montblanc Toffee Brown and Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Brown, so I thought this brown would be a nice choice. Something similar to KWZ Honey, a very popular and beautiful ink. More yellowish brown than reddish, not as elegant as a dark brown, but irresistible, creamy, delicious and sweet (yeah, I'm hungry...)

Love the event. I shoot one too.

It's too bad we can not make shading of the ink.

Don't we agree that ink shade is also a crucial part of the ink?

Its based off of Spessartine Garnet

Here is the link to my entry if anyone wants to vote for it; https://www.pelikan.com/pulse/Pulsar/en_US_INTL.FWI.viewUploadCrowdsourcingApp.197692.sweepstakeId.inkOfTheYear./index.html?u=445

I'd like Alexandrite: green in daylight and purple in artificial light.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
