Well I LOVE glitter and shimmer (it's the girly-girl in me) - Diamine Shimmering Seas and Sparkling Shadows are two of my go-to everyday inks. Can't wait to get my hands on this new 1670!!

So excited about this one! I love browns and browns with some red, and I also love me some shimmer!

I have Stormy Grey that'll probably sit in my drawer until it expires. What a shame, since I'm scared to use it in any of my pens.

I LOVE Stormy Grey. And I didn't hesitate to put it my Pelikan M100 with a 1 mm nib.

To be honest my bottle doesn't give enough shimmer to really notice, partially why figured no point bothering and maybe later sufferings consequences. I did use it in Montblanc's Catherine the Great and remember having to spend more time cleaning the nib to get it to stop shining

I was sort of hoping it would be something I wouldn't want.... :wallbash:

LOL! Me, too! One more on the wish list for me, I guess :-).

Hi folks,

so we got few photos of the ink and let me tell you - it sheens like crazy

Ink colour is similar to Iroshizuku Tsukushi, warm red-brown. It has gold flecks and strong metallic green sheen :)

AMAZING!

Enjoy the pictures, there will be many more to come.

Too red for me, although I have a hard time making out the true color of the ink underneath that overdone sheen. Will pass.

I'm excited to see it in person.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Mine is on order now. Won't see it until July but that is just going to build up my anticipation. It will look lovely on cream colored papers.

Done by Mateusz aka The Clumsy Penman - trust me, there is nothing clumsy about his work!

Enjoy,

I think it is a very nice color. Maybe a bit too thick and glittery though? I will see what reviews say. I can't buy anything for some time though. But I can put it on my wish list.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
