Most people on this forum are interested in high-end stationery, and I am too, but I live in a place where I cannot buy any European, N American, Korean, or Japanese papers, but I still need notebooks. And perhaps others also would like to know about cheaper papers which still take ink well. A line of notebooks showed up recently: various sizes of plain-covered notebooks with a firmly stitched binding. Comix notebooks come in various sizes, you can get two or three for the equivalent of a dollar, and they have 60-80 pages (I mis-counted in my review). I guess the weight to be 60g.

 

There was no feathering in the inks I tried, but inks spread significantly. A dry pen and a dry ink are necessary for good performance. And don't leave the tip on the paper!

 

All in all, acceptable as a disposable notebook, but, annoyingly, the label on the front does not come off without ripping the surface.
