How is water resistance of Oyster Grey?

I got a bottle of this ink along with 3 other Papier Plume inks (my significant other kindly bought them for me on his recent trip to New Orleans), and I'd like to ask for a confirmation: is Oyster Grey supposed to have a very noticeable blue-green tint? I was surprised how prominent it is and almost thought it looks close to what I see Bayou Nightfall appear as on google images if I look for reviews. It's still a lovely color, I just imagined it would be more toward neutral gray with a slight hint of blue. Next to my Iroshizuku Fuyu Syogun sample card, Oyster Grey is positively green-blue (whereas Fuyu Syogun has a lavender undertone).

I live maybe 20 miles from this shop. Its an awesome place. Because of the location i expected to pay tourist prices but was pleasantly surprised.
I have a few bottles of their FP inks (yes they are poured etc in the shop). One is "Red Beans and Rice" which is a black/red..really cool. And the other i believe is called "Calle Real" and is a super rich blue.

I also have several bottles of their calligraphy inks.
If you like I can send you some sample vials to test. Just pm me.

If you haven't taken a look at their journals i highly suggest you do! I got a italian leather journal with super nice paper last time i went and i also got them to emboss my name on the front cover. I think the journal cost $55.00 and then embossing was ~12-15. The only problem I have with it is its so pretty i literally do not want to mess it up...so i write in my leutchurm or however its spelled.

Visvamitra’s review indicates a bit of blue in his software color ID-take a look.

That's less blue green compared to what I'm seeing. Mine's an obviously faded green-blue-gray. I'll take a photograph.

Just ran across this thread after seeing this ink mentioned elsewhere.  i've had a bottle of this stuff for a few years and haven't used in quite a while... so long in fact that I forgot I had it.  I'm going to ink up my visconti rembrandt (broad) with it today and take it out for a spin!

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
