Wait Time For Order From Conid

So, 14 days without a human response (just a auto-responer mail) from Belgium...

Is anybody in contact with a real person at Conid? Or are there other reasons like still holidays, national days, shows somewhere abroad etc?

I will spend all the money from chrismas-gifts I received and so I am realy looking forward to my first bulkfiller.

Sorry for my impatience but I cant wait to "feel" it in my own hands!

There's a minimalistica demonstrator on the classifieds right now if you don't want to wait.

Thanks for your answer!

I did not pay because I asked for a engraving on the clip and don't know how much that will be...

So I'm still waiting for an invoice.

Hi Chris,

Engravings on the clip are done free of charge by Conid , just mention which engraving you want on the order form.

Regards,

Francis

I ordered one on 12/23/2016, received a conformation on 1/3/2017. I knew that I had ordered at a bad time (Christmas week) and so anticipated a long wait. I'm really excited! :)

EMails from 1/25/17 still unanswered...

Hoping for the best...

FYI - My Minimalistica was ordered December 27th 2016, shipped January 27th and was in my hands today - three days later. I live in the eastern part of the U.S. This is pretty much what I expected. Also, I paid for my pen on the day the order was placed.

I paid for mine upon ordering too. Also live on the east coast. Still waiting for shipping confirmation. The original invoice said est. ship date was 1/27/1/2017. But I have no idea if it actually shipped then. I imagine they're pretty busy.

This time I ordered a regular-streamline. My first one was a minimalistica.

You should get automated DHL notification via email when it ships.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
