I got a LAMY 2000 from him via eBay.

Very nice seller. He responds emails fast, usually within minutes. Very competitive prices.

We had just one little problem, the parcel took over a month to get to my country (Chile). The parcel went from Germany to China. Was in China for almost a month, then it was returned to Germany. At that point I contacted him again to let him know the issue and he contacted the post office in Germany. Almost a week later, the pen arrived at my home.

I got the mints and the gummies! I'm very happy with my LAMY2000. Could buy from him again.

+1 to Rolf, great service.

I did buy my one and only M800 pen from him. It was my holy grail pen for a long time but I'm extremely glad I purchased it from him!

I was unsure wether or not to get an EF or F. I went for the EF but he told me I could send the nib back for an exchange aswell.

The EF was perfect for me though.

I highly recommend Rolf to everybody and I'm a happy customer aswell!

I bought my second pen from him at missing-pens this time it was a Lamy 2000 B. He is always great to deal with and does not charge for shipping if you deal with him direct instead of eBay. I am a happy customer.

I purchased a Souveran M805 from him on eBay while he was on vacation and still got email responses from him on vacation. Very helpful and works to meet your needs while still keeping the cost down. Also highly recommend Rolf.

I purchased some Lamy nibs of different sizes when I was trying to figure out if I wanted broad (purchased a B, a 1.1, a 1.5) or an EF (also from Rolf) on my next pens, Rolf was very helpful, and was quick to refund the difference of the cost of shipping ( I was too excited to wait for an invoice, my bad), found him on ebay, but now if I ever want to buy something from him again, I'll probably just send him an email. Again, I would highly recommend him.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
