N.o.s Price: Skyline Pen And Pencil Set

Quick question for the Wahl Skyline collectors out there; I've found a mint condition NOS set of two navy blue Skylines, is £130 a good price?

They come in the original box and the pencil even has its spare leads.

I was wondering if it was a bargain for a New Old Stock set of a fountain pen and a mechanical pencil.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If its full-size and truly NOS, its not a bad deal. Probably about what they should cost.

Still sounds a tad high to me. But if you love NOS, stickered, etc, it could be worth it. Non stickered boxed sets on ebay seem to be closer to $100 - 125 USD, not GBP. I am not sure what premium is typical for the NOS stickered.

I bought the set with a 10% discount so perhaps I got a better deal.

The seller replaced the sack so I suppose that contributed to the price.

There were no stickers but I contacted the seller and he said that it was found with five other identical sets in the stock room of an Irish jewellers.

 

I think it was worth it though, free postage etc. from a guy I've bought from before.

 

I'll post a review of what it's like when I've had some time with the pen.
