After getting an old bottle of it, I'm wondering why they got rid of Peacock Blue....

Great question, Ruth! Sheaffer's Skrip Peacock Blue was the best ink they ever made (IMO) great color and very well behaved. Gotta wonder what these guys were thinking...although, I suspect, the bean counters make the decisions.
