Pif: Kwz Ig Mandarin Ink

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

I recently received a bottle of KWZ IG Mandarin Ink, but it is not getting much use.

I am offering three 7ml samples with free shipping to members in the U.S. or without shipping to others countries.

Just leave a comment here if you are interested and I will draw the winners in a week.

Cheers,

Daniel

I will draw three winners next Saturday (Feb, 6).

Count me in on this one. I love my KWZI IG Turquoise.

I do like the Turquoise, but the latest batch I received is a lighter blue than a previous sample.

I was just reading about the KWZ IG inks earlier today. I'd love to try some. Please include me in the drawing.

Ahhh, may the mighty Fates spin their web in my favor, I would like to try this ink!

Thank you for offering your ink around, it's very nice of you.

I would also like to be entered please. And of course I'd pay for the intern. shipping costs.

I'm interested for a few accumulating reasons:

- The only IG that I own and use is R&K Scabiosa. But it is said that the R&K IGs are like user-friendly 'lite' versions of more serious IGs. Not sure though.

- - (I don't know if all IG inks have that, but the smell of Scabiosa....Oh, such excite, much wow.)

- I do like Orange inks. My everyday-pocket-pen ink is a blend of different oranges.

- The only earthy orange I own is Diamine Autumn Oak, which I found interesting as a concept, but, on the other hand, to bland for everyday writing tasks.

- Ink samples are great, ink samples are just great. Even having inky fingers all the time is really, all things considered, a good thing. I'd wager that more great people in history than not had inky fingers.

- Thx.

Hi all,

This PIF is now closed. I used Random.org to draw the winners, who are:

Ink Blotto

Musicman123

Moonejon

Please PM me the address you would like me to send the ink. Also, please contact me over the weekend as I will be taking a break from FPN for while.

I wish I could send more ink to the rest of the participants, but, alas, I am a poor PhD student and a parent.

Best wishes

Daniel

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
