I am glad to help. Do you have it inked up now? I was going to use it as my next ink color. We could do a CRV??????

It is still inked, but I barely have but a few drops left. I was going to clean it today, but didn't get around to it. I am going to use it in another pen. Would you rather have a CRV with the Konrad as the pen it is in?

Amberlea, I made a crv for you with the Chisholm Trail. I decided to refill the Konrad with it. Normally I only rarely refill a pen with the same ink. Please send your mailing address to me, and I will send this off to you. I did use Tomoe River paper on it. This ink is going on my wish list.

The ink this year is Texas Navy. UPS lost the shipment, so it was not available until later in the day and the supply was very limited. It's a nice dark denim blue that is waterproof and it does not seem to spread or feather as much as some of the other Noodler's waterproof inks do...

Current Daily Carry: Pilot Custom 743 with 14k Posting nib (Sailor Kiwa-Guro), Sailor 1911L Realo Champagne with 21k Extra Fine nib (Sailor Tokiwa-Matsu). Platinum Century 3776 Bourgogne (Diamine Syrah), Nakaya Portable Writer Midori with 14k Extra Extra Fine nib (Lamy Peridot), Pilot Vanishing Point Stealth Black with Extra Fine nib unit (Pilot Blue Black), a dozen Nockco DotDash index cards of various sizes and a Traveler's Notebook.

I havEnt pulled it out and I can’t recall specifics, but I think my bottle of Civilizations Blue came from that show either this year or last, I think.

Civilization's Blue was supposed to be available at the 2016 show, but, due to family illness, it was not offered until the 2017 show. It was not a give-away ink, though. It was an ink that was used as a fund-raiser for the family members of Dallas police officers that were killed in the line of duty. Thanks for mentioning it, though - given it's situation, it could almost be a second ink for the 2017 show...

It’s really close to Revolution Blue which is my favorite all purpose blue except Civilizations Blue doesn’t stain.

Just trying Texas Navy this morning. I like the color, but it's very wet--in my Pilot Prera with a medium nib, it writes like a broad. F or EF nibs recommended.

Go with a fine nib. I've good luck in the finer side of nibs.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off.
