Amazon: Hp 32 Lb Premium Choice Paper $10.99 Shipped Prime

Didn't see this posted yet, but Amazon currently has the 500 sheet reams priced at $10.99 each with Prime shipping. According to Camel Camel Camel, the price has been hovering between $10 and $11 since October.

Since it's an item that is stocked and shipped by Amazon, I'll be having this price matched at my local Office Depot tomorrow, to be paired with some other coupons for an even better deal. :)

Happy writing!

Thats a very nicer price, thanks for posting this. (As an aside: I am not a fan of this paper. I may be the only one here that doesn't like it but it has some sort of coating that catches on the sharp corners of my cursive nibs.)

I've only ever gotten to sample a page of it a while back, but I've since moved and no longer have it. I figured I would give buying a ream a shot since this is much more enticing price than regular retail... :D

That's a great price. This has been my daily paper for quite a long time now. The photo in your link too to be the same as what I have.

I want to point out that the HP 32# Premium Choice LaserJet paper is uncoated. You can confirm that with HP or your retailer. (Coated papers, like those used for inkjet printers or photo quality paper, should not be used with fountain pens.)

  • 2 weeks later...

The 24lb is less than $9 as well, if you prefer that for some reason. This is my favorite all-time/anytime fountain pen paper.

Thanks to th OP! UPS just dropped off 2 packs of this paper. I really find this to be the best paper I have used for fountain pens. From a broad nib to an ultra extra fine, my nibs have never felt or performed better.

I'm so glad Amazon.com finally decided to sell this stuff themselves! Given how many use this paper, I think it was only a matter of time.

I've been noticing, as fountain pens have made their comeback, that Amazon.com is picking up more and more fountain pen gear, leading to price reductions up to 50% and the very welcome addition of Prime shipping.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
