My new favorite inkwell's a baby-formula holder: $3.99, spill-proof, with a lid, three compartments, and a pour-spout that rotates among the compartments:

Have you tried it for ink yet?  Seems to me that they may evaporate.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Do the 3 sections stay separate when filled with liquid? Can you carry 3 separate inks in it? I'm seriously doubting that you can, but for a moment I'd like to pretend :)

There is a lot of beautiful old ink bottles that can be re-used and add great character to this hobby and round out pen collections wonderfully. 

Great conversation pieces to have on your desk at home and at the office.


However, each to their own reasons and needs.
