Free Montblanc Legrand 90Th Anniversary And More! (Third Contest!)

Hey everyone!

Time for another contest! This is the 3rd one... It's a charm, right?

Sorry for being MIA recently. As always, my mother's health has been worsening because of the cancer (it has

spread and the chemo isn't working). Since I am her only family (and her, mine), I have been really struggling to

take care of her.

Anyway... enough sad stuff! On to the good stuff!

From now until January 1st, if you grab one of the "Ultimate Pen Polish" kits, you will get an entry

to win a BRAND NEW Montblanc LeGrand 90th Anniversary Rose Gold Rollerball... But there is MORE (read below).

As you may know, I have also recently released my "Ultimate Pen Flush." It has been received EXTREMELY well!

Each bottle lasts ~100 uses because it is so concentrated. Not only that, but it does more than just "clean" grime

and gunk-- it actually lubricates and hydrates seals and the like!

Here is the deal:

Every pen polish kit that you grab gets you an entry into the contest, as always.
Every pen flush kit you grab gets you an entry into the contest...

AND: If you grab both a pen polish kit and a pen flush, you get a bonus entry (aka 3 entries!).

On top of that, there will also be EXTRA prizes... so this is a much bigger contest than normal :-)

I will be giving away lots of goodies. Consider it my apology for being gone for so long. I'm back :-)

As always, you will get the FPN discount of ~20% off, as well as free domestic shipping, at-cost

international shipping, and a free micro-fiber polishing cloth!

And, of course, you will still be getting the same kit as before: enough for ~50 uses!

Since it's obvious that there is a 99.99% chance I will be losing a great deal of money with this contest, you

might be wondering why I am doing it.

Two reasons:

First, I want to show you all that I am here for the "long haul" and that I truly consider myself part of the

community. I've loved our jibs and PMs back and forth, etc. Second, I want to get the "Ultimate Pen Polish"

in the hands of more people. Everyone who has used it so far loves it, and I know that the more people use

it, the more people will talk about it to others!

To get your hand in the cookie jar, use the following link. If you are international, make sure to select it from

the dropdown under the arrow:

>>> ***CLICK HERE TO GRAB A KIT AND ENTER TO WIN A MONTBLANC LEGRAND (162)*** <<<

Let me know if you have any questions!

ps. Obviously Montblanc, the company, has nothing to do at all with this promotion!

I know this is a very old thread, but the mailbox cannot accept new messages for TLMG. He was on the site around Christmas time.

Does anyone know if he still sells his pen polish and if so, is there a current website?

This is great stuff.

Thanks!

So, what's your point?

(Mine is a flexible F.)

The website on his profile page still seems to work: http://www.ultimatepenpolish.com/

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the delay in replying. How cool that right when I get things back and running, I see a small note from the universe in the form of the replies to my (old!) post!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
