Asa Nauka: Review Of A Classic

Thank you very much for contacting me here. Indeed I would like to buy another of your pens.

I dont seem to be able to open your web page however, allowing me to see your pens. Perhaps the best thing would be for me to study the pens shown by owners on FPN web pages, and then I can ask you by mail or directly here if the pen is available.

Dupontdelamare

Thank you sir.

But may I know the error message you are getting? So that I can rectify this.

Pls help me here.

Best regards

The message I get, Subbey, is of course in French « Safari ne peut pas ouvrir la page car le serveur est introuvable », or Ce site est inaccessible Impossible de trouver l'adresse IP du serveur de asapens.in.

Approximately « this site is inaccessible, impossible to find the IP address of the server at Asa pens.in "

I hope this will be a help. I will get back to you as soon as I have made a decision. At present I am hesitating over nibs, and between Nauka and Ican.

Best regards

Hello Mr Subbu at Asa pens, I have been hesitating over which Nauka model to chose, but finally decided on the light brown and black mottled ebonite, number 3 in the ebonite colour rods you sent me, but in matte ebonite not polished (I had considered polished black which is beautiful, but I prefer the matte texture, and of course I already own a black bakul Nauka).

I would like a 1.5 nib and wonder whether the Bock gold plated version is possible, as I am thinking of using IG Aztec gold by KWZ, and I think the gold plate protects the nib. Failing that, I’d go for the Jowo nib.

I would like the nib to be tested and also to have a converter.

I still can’t access your web page, but it might be due to web filters here in France?

I would be grateful if this is possible, and you can send me a PayPal billing to my email adress.

Best regards

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
