I present to test the ink Sheaffer Skrip Blue-Black. But as you can see the smeared drops, added must also be some other color responsible for specific luster. I bet bright green. Ink admittedly slightly dry in the pen, but this is not a problem. He writes nicely. Drying at a good level. Worth buying, but you should also look at other blue-black.

Manufacturer: Sheaffer

Paper: Image Volume (80 g / m2)

These is a fascinating ink. The swab and writing samples almost make the ink look deconstructed, as though there are patches of blue components and patches of black components, but they aren't always blended together.

This is an interesting ink, that I found to be very dependent on the pen. I have one pen that writes it a greyish blue-black and one that writes it a very DARK blue-black. I liked the dark color out of the 2nd pen better than the greyish out of the 1st pen.

I found the ink to be less harsh on my eyes than BLACK ink. The black ink sometimes has too much contrast with the white paper. This was something that I had not expected, and has opened my eyes to the world of dark grey inks as an alternative to BLACK ink. And that is something that I would never have expected to do. When I use black ink, I want BLACK ink, and had disliked the black inks that looked dark grey. Maybe it has something to do with my aging eyes.

Far from just you.

I'm a doctor. My eyes get tired, staring at poorly printed forms, glaring monitors and so on. Black ink, and I mean really black, like burned paper, makes it worse. Blue blacks calm things down. Sheaffer BB is on my list when my 54M runs dry. It gives my eyes a rest.

Physician- signing your scripts with Skrips!

I'm so tough I vacation in Detroit.

I really like this blue-black. It looks really nice, like a grey-blue unlike many blue-blacks that are more navy blue. I very much dislike boring black inks, and usually blue blacks are just as boring. But this looks much more interesting.
