I love Noodler's inks, by quality, value, and variety.  It is a great product by a great company.  Their fountain pens are "cheap", and feel cheap.  I see them as short-term use in trying Noodler's inks.  I don't care if a Noodler's pen gets discolored, or worn, or breaks.  I don't think they are intended to last.  I gave them all away.  

 

The pen seems to write okay.  You have a very pleasing hand.  If you can't live with the stained, Noodler's demostrator, I offer you an inexpensive, smooth Jinhao, that doesn't show stains.

 

Write with joy.
