Thank you! Is that a but purple sheen I see around the edges? I thought it would be more saturated, wonder how it would look in a finer nib.

I don't suppose you have the Midnight Blue to show us as well?  :)

It does have a little sheen over the edges, but not most probably only will be visible on Tomoe River paper.
Flow is nice though, but it is not too lubricated. If you've tried the Stone Grey for example, you know what you can expect.

I'll try it with other pens too, maybe jump right to a Japanese EF :D

No, I don't have the Midnight Blue, sorry :)

I put up a pic of a quick swab of both colours in post #32. They're not a very saturated inks, but do have a lovely vintage look.

Lovely photo.  Could you tell me what nib size that is?

Best.

I would love to see Deep Sea Green in a fine nib. It looks so much lighter in the sample posted than I thought it would.

I have it in a Pelikan M800 F right now. I'll post a sample tomorrow.
(maybe even a review, but I can't promise that)

I've finally tried all new GvFC inks (reviews here: Deep Sea Green, Midnight Blue, Royal Blue) and I'm strongly disappointed. These inks lack everything quality, behaviour and interesting colors. Personally I find Deep Sea Green one of worst inks I've tried in a while (dry, unpleasant), Midnight Blue has starting issues in finer nibs and is boring (again this is subjective) while Royal Blue is decent ink with nice flow but generic color. I expect premium products to offer premium quality and writing experience. In case of new GvFC inks only proce and bottle are premium.

That's sad because I'm huge fan of their previous inks.
