My Nakaya Portable Writer "Bamboo Woods" from Nibs.com finally arrived today, after a delay at customs. There's not a lot of photos of this finish online, so I thought that I would share.

First two photos were taken with Leica X2, the rest with iPhone 5s.

For size comparison, here it is besides the Sailor Profit 1911 Standard, the Pilot CH 74, and the Lamy Safari.

Very nice taste in the pens. And the Leica X2 is a beast.

Congrats.

Wow! This pen is a LOT more beautiful than I thought. The rich mahogony color of the section and the gold and umber of the bamboo and leaves is gorgeous. What an inviting and lovely pen!

I love this simple woods bamboo f. pen much more than the  famous "Ascending Dragon " that is quite popular here.

It shows less, but suggest much more. Enjoy your pen.

Congratulations on the acquisition! That is really special. Good choice on ink too. Oku-Yama is one of my favorites.

Congrats.

It's not the most versatile camera, but it suits my limited skills. :)

That is one stunning pen, and combined with the Oku Yama ink you make me drool.

Thank you for sharing.

Love that art style - almost looks a little like some western animation I've seen.
