Cheap Inks At Seitz Global

5.77 per bottle of R u. K ink is pretty good, I think. Free shipping over $25

Pelikan 4001 is also pretty cheap, but selection is spotty (No Koenigsblau??). I'm guessing, inventory changes constantly.

No affiliation, but I did use these guys through Amazon a couple of times. Prices were a bit higher there, but free shipping with no minimum purchase

Edit: poked around some more - they carry a good selection of Kaweco's as well, also well below US retailers (Jetpens, Goulet).

Thank you for this reminder of the site. I have ordered several times from Mr. Seitz both from this site, his US Ebay & Amazon listings. Everything has always been perfect & his offerings are always superior to ANY US seller that it is a pleasure to order. You can have a multiple selection of nibs for the Kawecos without paying a "surcharge" for the nib of your choice. My first Kaweco Sport was purchased from his Amazon site & has caused me to have continued purchases both from him & others.

BUT after reading your post I was VERY happy to discover he currently had an Online pen that has been "eluding" my purchase. I found one offered @ another German site but the US shipping was equal to the pen's purchase price! NOT so with Mr. Seitz.......the same pen will ship with another bottle of Standgraph ink for free. You are of course right about the "ever changing" inventory, the pen has never been there before & may not be after this inventory is sold, but thanks to you I will have a pen I wanted & @ a price that was most reasonable.

I have bought from his eBay store twice, very good prices and the free shipping to Australia is extremely rare. If I ever want a Kaweco he will be the one I go to.

Thanks for the heads up! My gf is looking to audition purple/blue ink and R&K is something she hasn't tried before.

This is a good store. I have bought several bottles of ink via their Ebay link. Free postage and a quickish deliver time. I thoroughly reccomend.

Has anyone tried the store brand ink? I was tempted to order some but haven't heard of them before so I figured I would hold off... The R&K prices are less than half the local rate here... I've always been curious about that brand...

Cyber6 reviewed all of them ... they show up at the top of the google search at least for me. And yeah that's a good price for 0.1L of good quality ink.

Here's one. They are all from the same timeframe.

Got my inks yesterday and am happily writing with R&K Salix in my VP today! Can't wait to see what Konigsblau looks like - but my gf has the bottle... Thanks for the pointer on a great source of R&K!

How long does it take to ship to US? I'm going back soon and want stock up beforehand because i don't like the idea of bring 20+ bottles on the flight.

Just an update to say that Seitz-Kreuznach inks are only $4.43 here and US$4.44 shipping. A good deal if you are ordering a bunch of inks. Take a look at Plum Blue, Indian Summer, Cognac, and Dark Orchid, I find them very appealing.

Could you please clarify whether that’s appealing just from looking at the images in the product listings? Or have you used said inks, and find their performance and presentation on the page appealing from actual writing experience with them?

I loved their old bottles.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I just received my order and have only written a sample dip pen line with them but I found the colors appealing. Plum Blue is a nice plum color, perhaps a little less red than what most people would think of as plum. Indian summer is a reddish orange, without the saturation that would keep me from using it for letter writing. Cognac is a lovely soft brown, a few reviews here on FPN and Dark Orchid is, to me, very pretty violet color, more saturated than the other colors I mentioned,

I just ordered 18 (all available except underlining yellow) of the 30ml bottles from the manufacturer for $78.66 USD, for delivery to the US.  At $4.33/bottle, that is pretty incredible.

I resisted to buy anything from this good offer. 😇

I still have so many inks. Too many.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
