Dear all,
I saw this topic in repair Q&A section, but without a lot of responses. I need a nice case to keep my 10 of fountain pens. Currently ask are in a pouch and I fear scratches with them kept together. Any reccomendations on Mumbai or online? Reasonably priced (sure would hate a case costlier than the lens itself!!)
Something uniquely Indian is also preferred
Any reccomendations?
Thanks

You might want to contact Dr. Ashish (he goes by member id: ashishwakhlu here on FPN). He gets excellent leather pen cases made and has even listed a few in the classifieds section here (search his member id and you will see the listings). I am myself using some cases purchased from him and find them very good!

Not long ago I too wanted to buy a pen case (and a pen) from Ashish, but he disappeared and stopped responding to PMs. May be someone would help me to resume contact with him?

Immediate relief - go to a stationery shop and get one of the paper pen cases that mfgs ship pens in. The Baor and Airmail boxes are particularly nice.

Longer term - Around Diwali you get a lot of padded and decorated wooden boxes with hinges, meant for gifting sweers and dry fruits. These typically sell for around 500 rupees. You can line tgese with pen case liners.

My pens out of rotation are stored in paper boxes and kept inside whereas pens in rotation go in the diwali box..

I received a 4-pen leather case from Ashish about a month ago, which by the way is of excellent quality. Keep trying to contact him, perhaps he is very busy or has some kind of emergency to deal with right now.

Sorry for hijacking this topic

I was looking at these pen cases online. i messagaed the vendor and he informed me that these pen cases are made in india.

Anybody knows who or where makes these cases? This would make it easier instead of buying it in USA and having it brought back into India?

His work's keeping him busy these days, try sending a reminder if he doesn't respond in reasonable time...

I came across this topic while googling for something similar.

I do realize that this is an old post and you've probably found a solution already. However, I'm writing this just in case you haven't found something suitable yet and for the benefit of other FPN members in India.

I've found a reasonably priced pen display case on Amazon India. Click here or search for "leather world pen display case" on the Amazon India website.

It costs INR 1,799 with free delivery.
