Thanks  :) Now you tell me  ;)

The poor old ink and it's useless cap flew 4200 miles.

I will honour those miles and use it somehow.

No!

Once opened though, the cap wouldn't close. I decanted into a Monteverde bottle, added 15ml of Sheaffer Blue Black to restore the "cool charm" I saw in mehandiratta's scan.

Delighted.

I now have what I expected from it and have filled a Noodler's Nib Creeper with it. Yum !

You have found that Chelpark black is a great mixer, I think. I too had a bottle and was not so charmed by it, but I mixed it with Bril Royal Blue and love the resulting Blue black... not a tealish blue black but the real thing. A very dark almost black blue black. I am waiting for a new bottle so I can continue mixing...

ETA I have found that Nature's Bounty (dietary supplement) screw caps that have an opening flap close the Chelpark bottles perfectly.

Ahh, you spoke too late. I would have happily made the ink fly off a few miles more and sent some kindness to Curacao.

Thanks for the lid tip. I'll keep a look out as I quite like the bottle.

Thanks, but this is a bottle that's already been purchased, in India, by a friend and i'm just waiting for it to be shipped and then for it to reach me here.... but, thanks for the thought!

Yes, the bottles are nice, little Parker Quink bottle clones but slightly smaller, I've found.
