White Jinhao 450 Source?

Recommended Posts

I want to buy a Jinhao X450 on WHITE. I ordered one from beyond the big seas and never arrived. It cost $1.99 and supposedly delivered in 20-30 days, but what I lost was my time which is priceless. I only want the white one since I have the X750 in black, red, and with shiny dots.... (ugly) and they are almost the same. It looks like a beauty in white. Of course, I would prefer someone that delivers at least in a week.

Have tried Amazon? In the UK there are a few sellers that import these and then resell them locally. You pay a bit more but you don't have to wait for it to ship from China.

I have not seen the white color on Amazon. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more (I have paid $5 to $9.99 on Amazon) if they were available.

Is it the white X450 you are looking for? The only one close to it I have seen is a cream finish, I have several white X750's.

If you are still having trouble finding the Jinhao x450 in white, you may want to also check out the Bulow x450 in white (Kurve Vanilla). You can find it at www.xfountainpens.com (no affiliation, just a good purchase experience in the states). Not as cheap, but still inexpensive, and if you spend $15, you can get free shipping.

I think

PsychoDeli is the closest butlooks to me it has too much bling and Jinhaos usually are not that flashy. But it will do.

The thing is that someone on IG had a Zebra G installed on a X450, it was white. I tried installing a ZEBRA G on two non-white X450 Jinhaos and the seciton whouldn't give in. So I wondered if teh whites or cream are done a tad different.

I will try that Amazon pen, using sunglasses to use it!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
