Best paper ever.

 

My dip pen did not even cut this paper. Ink does not seep thru.

 

My wettest nib on Montblanc 149 does very well with this paper.

 

Cost at Costco is only 12$ for 500ct.

That's amazing compared to rhodia or anyother paper.

 

Tell me you're not going to overpay for paper!

Which brand and weight is this?

I also use printer paper. I'm using the HP 32lb Premium Laser and it is even better than Rhodia in my opinion. It can handle even the toughest inks without a problem!

YE's sir they are the best.

Ah! Same as me! I print my own rulings onto the paper also, so I never buy lined paper anymore! For rulings, I use http://incompetech.com/ for their generator.

My Rhodia and Clairefontaine papers beat this paper. They are both smoother, and the text is smoother when viewed under a microscope.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
