I had recently obtained some info on a "swiss army knife- like" tool (or writing instrument set) with 12 functions). It consists functions of mechanical pencil, ball point pen(black and red), cutter, scissors, ruler …etc.

Attached is the info/instruction sheet of this tool.

I am wondering if any of members have seen one of this tool and has any info on where I may find this "special" writing instrument.

I would appreciate any info you can share with me...... Thank you.

Hi, I found one of these today in an abandoned storage bin I purchased. Your info is the only thing I could find about it. There does not appear to be a model number on it other than the "Twelve 12 Zebra Japan" that is on the side. It is a very interesting little multi-tool kind of thing. Much like a swiss army knife.

Have you found any other info about these?

Hawk

I have one of these also. Pretty good condition since it is close to 25 years old. I've had it since I was a kid. Let me know if you are interested in buying. Mine is exactly the same but says "The Workshop" on the side instead. It is also stamped Zebra Japan.

Coincidences huh?

While rummaging in my attic today I found an unused Zebra 12, black, no box or instruction leaflet, located in the UK, highlighter makes a faint yellow mark, black pen works, red pen dried up, pencil lead ok, eraser and post-it notes unused, what's it worth?

Raising this topic from the dead, but I have one of these if any of you are interested. Everything is there but the ink is mostly dried up over the years. It was never really used just stored away. See photos and message me if you want to buy it.

Thanks!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
