Hi all:

I am a bit new here and not sure of were to go so I thought I might put a question out there.

I am interested in a Doufold for my first vintage pen.

I was wondering if eBay is the best place. I was also wondering what an older pen might cost.

Am I in the $200.00 range?

Any help greatly appreciated.

My suggestions :

1. Do your research on the Duofold and choose the one you want - single band, double band, 1920s or the 1930s streamline. The link below may help:

http://parkercollect...om/duofold.html

(I made the mistake of rushing in early to buy on eBay and ended buying the streamline duofold whereas I preferred the earlier 1928 model)

2. Check out the good Parker sellers like five star pens (no affiliations)

3. IMO $200 sounds a fair value, but I have seen pens go for more than $500 also (especially single band ones with flex nibs)

All the best
