Iroshizuku - Ku-jaku (Peacock) - CRV - Group Review - 2015-05

The Iroshizuku Group Review color for May 2015 is Ku-jaku ”Peacock”. It is a blue-green, which seems to vary a lot in color based on pen and paper and even has sheen in the right combination - very like the flashy tail of the bird it is named for.

Please post your reviews and scans of the ink in this thread.
If you want to a partner for a Co-Razy View (CRV) of this ink, please write it up and mail it to Lou Erickson. (PM for the address.) If you want to do a Co-Razy View on your own, please do! Other reviews are welcome, too.
NOTE: I have a new address as of January! If you have sent me things in the past, please PM for the new address - the old one will stop forwarding eventually.
You can look at the full description of the Iroshizuku Group Review to see how this should work and what we’re doing.

Thanks to Rachel Goulet, who gave permission to me to use their beautiful product photo and swab.
More thanks to Amberlea who gives so much of her time to herding these inky kittens.
Many apologies for the lateness of the post this month. It's been a busy time. I hope you've tried the ink out and have something to share!

This is one of my favorite inks, and the hue one of my favorite all-around colors. It's now in an Aquamarine LE Safari with B nib due to my obssession with matching ink and barrel colors.

The Prussian Blue is much darker and more gray than appears in this scan, but the Anonymous Turquoise is pretty much accurate.

And a simple paper towel chroma.... I expected a more spectacular corona. I can see hints of green or chartreuse at the edges, though.

Rhodia dot paper. Behaves well on all papers, shows good shading, love the color. What more could you ask of an ink?

I'm not sure why the flow seemed just a touch reluctant in the Safari; I remember this ink as being generous. Maybe I'll test it in another pen soon.

Be careful...one ink leads to another! ;)

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Hey Lou, didn't I send some sheets to you?

Yes. They're on my desk, with a large number of other important things. I am behind in getting them handled.

You even sent the original sheet of Lloyd's, which is pretty in person. One day, I hope to be organized enough to make my own similar sheet.

Beautiful!!!

I have not yet tried this ink, but I really want to. It looks so lovely!! I also want to try the Moonlight one too. Both look like really nice inks! (Well of course they are Iroshizuku....lol)
