Farewell Ink Sample Pif, Lot Of 37 Samples

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'll throw my hat in the circle too.

I have been using fountain pens for years bur only recently started playing around with inks.

Amberlea helped me out with a great little collection, Well actually she fanned the flames, and since then I dream of a ink cabinet like hers,

I joined the Goulet Ink drop club to get introduce to inks I might not try otherwise and find myself using colors I never thought I would.

Oh the inky madness ...sigh.....

Best of luck on your adventure,

with my deepest respect,

mark

  • You are about to embark on my dream, bucket list journey. I have always dreamed of joining the Peace Corp. Congratulations and may your journey be one where whatever your assignment, you not only provide what is needed, you also learn many things along the way in your time there.

May already be too late, but the following red, since red is my nearly exclusive color of preference are the choices in your PIF. In any case, be well. Take something to record your journey of a lifetime so you can let others know of your adventure upon your return.

What a generous offer. I would be interested in any of the inks as I am new to fountain pens as of about 10days ago. I am most interested in the Pilot ink, but anything would be nice to try. Thanks

Hi,

I would be interested in Toucan samples (I'd like to review full line). I have Sienna and Orange. The inks I'm lacking at the moment are

  • Toucan Bright Blue
  • Toucan Crimson
  • Toucan Gold
  • Toucan Magenta
  • Toucan Primrose
  • Toucan Royal Blue
  • Toucan Scarlet
  • Toucan Turquoise

Please consider me for this.I'm fairly new to fountain pens, and have zero experience with any of those inks, so would love to try any of them.I'm a writin' fool, so they'd see plenty of use.

I admire your generosity in joining the Peace Corps and in giving away your ink. If you need more vials, you can ask Amberlea; she buys them 10,000 at a time. I will mention it to her today.

I don't need any more ink, but you're going to make a lot of people happy.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Ciao from Italy,

as a recent expat I know what your about to do as far as moving overseas. I will say this, I brought my inks and I'm glad I did. Not to push you either direction, but you might find you have time on your hands to write and I'm not sure how available inks are where you are going. Even here inks aren't as readily available as they were back in the states. However, I enjoy ink and if you thinking about letting some go I would be interested in:

Noodlers Blue Ghost

Noodlers Blurase

Noodlers Apache Sunset

Noodlers Saurgo Wine

Wow! What a generous offer. Good luck on your new job. I haven't even heard of many of the inks in your list. My husband & I have just started to collect inks. I love all the different colors of ink available. They make journaling much more fun.

Hi, I'm BRAND NEW to FPN and the world of FP although I have been writing and journaling for as long as I can remember. I would love to be counted amongst those you may want to share with. It's a Very generous offer and thanks for considering other FPNr's in advance.

I'm interested... only tried (so far) about 4 inks. None on that list.

I did a form I uploaded for ink reviews, working on a "How-To" for colour calibration for ink reviews... some more inks would be great because then I could do a whole bunch of reviews and upload to the review section of the site.

I'll take whatever I can get and do some reviews.

Thanks for the generous offer!

:)

I'd prefer noodle's black, borealis black, or waterman serenity. But any black or blue ink would be lovely! I haven't had a chance to purchase any ink, I'm completely new at this. Would love to sample some practical black/blue inks before I purchase a whole bottle!

Sorry I don't know how to edit, but I'd really love noodler's black as my number one choice if possible. I'm planning on purchasing the ink and if you could give me your bottle or sample to test, I'd love it! Thanks and good luck in the peace corps

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
