I purchased a Parker Duofold that is discolored. Is there any way to bleach it back to the original color

I assume that I will have to remove the black nib holder to get to the sac, is that right?  Does it unscrew?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Dave

Nope.

The discoloration is Within the material. It's caused by sulphur outgassing from the latex sac.

The cap is what the barrel originally looked like.

Yes the section does have threads on it. As for the color change, No.

What Bruce said is true.

Thank you for the good info.  Any idea of the age of this pen?
