As much as I like to collect "sets" of things, I just can't justify $150 for a bottle of ink... so my MB LE collection will always be incomplete. I can't justify 2 bottles of Gandhi either. Too bad.

I really want Sakura, too, but for the same price I could get the new Cafe and Creme Pelikan! I think the latter wins.

I would agree with the listen to your husband advice, unless you have the disposable income to throw at that.

Another point is it might be getting little past it's prime freshness and could cause problems if you actually put it into a pen.

Patience is not only a virture, but an invaluable friend that saves me money on Ebay regularly. Set up a Ebay Saved Search with Email notifications. I think you might see those come around more often than you might believe.

I checked out Michael R's review of Sakura in the FPN ink review forum. Just saved myself a bundle of cash.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
