There is a NEW Ink Player out there. Seitz-Kreuznach is offering good value for their ink. In summary:

 

  • Most of them are medium-wet
  • Decent water resistance
  • Colors are vibrant.. except Flamingo Pink
  • Warning: with a broad wet pen, you WILL get show through and some bleed through (some are worst than others)

Nice color. What other colors have they got?

Where are they from? (Brand sounds german)

I'm a far happier person if I have no choices. ;-)

I'm starting to have trouble differentiating the slight differences in color.

Isn't there a J Herbin color similar to this?

Do you mind doing a quite comparison with Kon-Peki, and Waterman Inspired Blue for me, Cyber6? I like this color, but I don't want any obvious color repeats.

LOL... there are a LOT of similar colors to this. In fact, there are very little "unique" colors out there.

 

Now, if you are looking for behavior, then yes.. you might have a hard time finding similar color with very similar behavior.

 

These ones are somewhat wet, easy to clean and with some water resistance. Not bad for the price.

In your new sample bag, you have sample of SKAB (this ink) and a sample of Kon Peki.

 

This ink is MUCH greener than KP.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning.
