I've just found this thread and I need this in my life. However Google seems defeated. Does anyone know how I can get a bottle of this. It seems a perfect match for a MB Defoe (I like to match FP's with the ink colour.

They had a 2nd batch up and it sold out in 6 days. I heard on the rumor mill, cannot verify if it is true, that they will limit it to one per customer on the next batch.

The batch was for reservations--all was spoken for. So if one didn't reserve, one could not purchase a bottle.

 

I was told that they are doing away with the reservation system (too many foreigners reserving large quantities and not allowing locals a chance to buy) so I imagine the "one bottle per person" will hold true.

One bottle per color per customer was done this time too. But it still sold out as usual.

I've decided to use Cigar to inaugurate my Nakaya 21st Anniversary Naka-ai from nibs.com. According to the kanji on the barrel, I got serial no. 2 (I'm sure no. 1 went to John). The pen has a vermeil monkey roll-stopper (this is the Chinese Year of the Monkey) and a 14k left oblique nib. The color of Cigar should show off the complex coloring of the pen.

That's a wonderful pen. Cigar is a great choice. De Atramentis Maron would also go well in it.

From Mew's other post in another thread, I believe she ordered it directly from the store, as did I. I posted the shop owner's email in the Sailor thread. Keep in mind that it's best to contact the shop directly to inquire about inventory, they do not mail items outside of Japan, but there are ways around that hurdle.

Like Haruka said, I contacted Yoshimune San for the inks and he shipped them to me in Kyoto at my house.

You can use white rabbit express like suggested by another member to deliver in your country. But that will add shipping and service charges.

I paid only for the inks.

So do they mail out inks from the store as well as the online site? I thought I was trying to find someone who could walk into the store and buy a bottle, then mail it to me, because the web-site is always out of stock. I gave up on that idea because such a person doesn't exist.

 

The P&M web-site would never work for a forwarding company like Zenmarket or White Rabbit Express, because it is almost always out of stock. Even when the ink comes in, they are all bought within a very short time. So there is no possibility of involving either Zenmarket or White Rabbit Express, because by the time you have asked them to buy it on your behalf, it's out of stock again.

 

I have decided that the only possible way I could buy a bottle is if I went to Kobe myself and they happened to have one in the store that I could pick up and buy. As I'm not going to do that, I'm going to have to stick with Stipula Musk Green and my own copy of Cigar.

they mail inks since the site is really an online store and they have a store anyway so yeah you know what to do essentially this cuts out rakuten from the picture their site serves as their online store and their store in Kobe as a B&M store... either way indeed the best way to actually get the ink is to keep tabs which I think anyone familiar with ebay system knows how to constantly keep tabs 24/7 on an item

unless WRE can actually keep tabs on the site once a shipment has arrived and have you allocated a bottle at that instant which I'm not familiar with

WRE simply orders from the web site, afaik. So basically the new system, if that's what you want to call it, works only for those living in Japan who can quickly respond to the situation. It doesn't even make sense for someone outside Japan to travel to Japan to visit a store since you'd never know whether the store would have what you'd want.
