At the time, the Passaporto was the cheap version, the expensive ones ran well over $300 .
The first FPN Pen was a special edition of the Bexley Simplicity, with special blue veined cracked ice, and blue Jewels, the seond series was quite a few different pens, all made by Stipula,:
- 2 different Passaportos, one with gold coloured trim and one with chrome trim, in 3 different nib sizes
- 2 different Modello-Ts, with MOP clip jewel and with Saphire clip jewel, with Ti nib
- 4 different Etrurias, in Azurite with silver trim and gold trim, and in celluloid with silver trim and gold trim, with a choice of 3 14K nibs and 3 18K nibs
Because they were so popular, we did another short run of FPN Passaportos, only in Chrome trim, and of Modello-Ts, with Saphire clip jewel. As of today, they are all gone actually . These were priced higher than the earlier run, simply because they were much shorter runs and cost more to produce, BTW. They are distinguishable from the first run because the inscription carries the year as 2012, the earlier ones were produced in 2011.
Will we do another FPN pen? Yes, I think, I started a discussion on this same subject last night.
I have 2 manufacturers in mind right now. When we get to a point close enough to possible production, I am sure we will make an announcement .
Warm regards, Wim
