Oh man.  I *already* wanted Honey.  And now you're telling me it SHEENS?

You people are Just Evil.  My husband is convinced of this -- he has stopped telling people I have a pen collection, in favor of telling them I have an ink collection....

Of course you do understand that I'm calling you evil in the nicest way possible, right? :D

I think those were Violet #5 and Violet #6.  They may have been phased out.

So sorry... not a big suspense.  The second part of 2015 was quite busy for our ink Master (and future ink Mistress) :D  :D   Lots of work to complete his PhD and keep KWZI fresh and current.

  • You now can find KWZI at Vanness (USA) and Sakura (Belgium)  and there are at least a couple of Canadian retailers carrying KWZI at the moment.
  • KWZI  featured an exclusive ink for the the Toronto Pen Show - Scriptus 2015 - MAPLE RED !!... It was sold out in less than an hour (approx 40 minutes)  B)
  • There is a gorgeous Azure #6 and Azure#7 (don't have a sample of that one)...
  • There is a Brown 3 (listed in May) which I now have a sample to post
  • A new gorgeous Pink... called Raspberry.

I will post samples as soon as I get some time...

Cyber6 congratulations on your future move to Poland!

And becoming an ink mistress as well! Though I kind of already thought you had attained that status already.  :happycloud9:

Part of the problem is the confused names of these inks. I have seen at least three naming conventions since I started following KWZI, and it can be very difficult to tell whether an ink is new, renamed, or discontinued. There should be separate lists for the different types of inks, and former designations of each ink should be included for the benefit of those who want to buy more of the same ink they have, but can't figure out what it's called now. Discontinued inks should be listed as well, in case someone wants to petition for a reinstatement. Konrad makes fantastic inks, but it would make buying them much easier if they were described in an organized manner.

I agree, but those are growing pains, I guess. Some of his ink names in Polish are actually really awesome, and some have a cute cultural reference, but they're inconsistent. Someone should persuade him to rename all of his inks in English, with marketable names. I think it would go a long way toward growth.

+1. Agreed. To me, the names Azure #3, Azure #4, Azure #5 etc are very confusing because they say nothing about how these inks are different. Yes a swab is shown, but that's never very helpful for me, as I much prefer to see some writing.

Actually Polish ink names wouldn't be bad. Akermann ink names are Dutch.
