Hi everyone!

I just got notice of a new special edition M200 coming in 2015.

It is called "café creme".

http://www.pelikan.c...200-café-creme

I like the colour.

Although I own several Pelikan pens in that size, this one I must have.

Congratulations!  I really like the color combination.   Maybe due to my coffee addition....

Gotta hand it to Pelikan, they remain tasteful in their special releases.  The cognac was gorgeous and now this looker.

That is bad to the bone.  A little retro color scheme, but I love it.

I really like this a lot. I'm so glad such a beautiful color is being offered in a more affordable 200 rather than the more expensive larger sizes.

Haha, it's a really tasty colour combination. Well done, Pelikan.

Very nice. I must confess that their Cognac version wasn't to my taste, but this is right up my street. I wonder whether it will be available with an italic nib?

I hope it comes with the option for an italic nib.  If so, I'll definitely grab one!

It's a looker, wonder how many more surprises they will be rolling out.  I have to say I think their marketing strategy is off by about 6 weeks.  It makes sense to me to put these new items on the market BEFORE Christmas, not after.  But what do I know?

First the black striped M800, and now this!  Absolutely brilliant in the same way as the white tortoise, - it has the same retro /weird genome. I do hope that this is a huge success, and gives Pelikan the confidence to do something more interesting than a seemingly  eternal stream of dreary demonstrators.

I also love the way Pelikan describe the colour combination as 'dreamy', which makes me think of the Shangri-Las and Lesley Gore.

I gotta say, the more I look at this new M200, the more I like it. The color scheme is so similar to the 400 series tortoiseshell Pelikans of the 1950s and 60s. The two-tone pattern is a bit reminiscent of the blue-black and green-black M250s of a while back (and the red-black M150), but I think this rendition is even better. Pelikan has struck a solid chord on this pen. Very well done.

German list price 125 Euro.

Nibs in EF to B. No obliques and no italics.

Even so, looking nice pen.

Does the Cognac promptly disappear from vendors at the turn of the year, or might I have a decent chance of finding it at a pen show in, say, April?

Oh, Pelikan is going to strain my budget in 2015.  Will definitely be picking one of these up.  Should pair nice with 4001 Brilliant Brown.

I think i might prefer some m400 trimming on those colors.  IDK, any reason I can find to not buy a pen, I need to listen to.
